Duane Anderson Obituary

Duane Harold Anderson, 78 ESCONDIDO -- Duane Anderson passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010. He was born on February 28, 1932 in Forest Lake, Minn., son of Delphin and Clarice Anderson. Duane received a Bachelors degree from the University of Minnesota. He became an Electrical Engineer for Univac and NCR, and co-founder of Comten Computer Company. He was a member of the University of Minnesota Alumni Assoc., North County Woodworkers Club, San Diego Fine Woodworkers Club, and Nora Unitarian Universalist Church of Hanska, Minn. He was a Master Woodworker! Duane is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pat Anderson of Escondido; daughter, Kristin (Tom) Osborn of Ramona; sons, Eric T. (Mary) Anderson of Wyoming, Minn., and Daniel H. Anderson of Escondido; sister, Gladys Larson of Hanska, Minn.; six grandkids, Justin, Zack, Daniel, Rebecca, Dale and Emily; and one great-granddaughter, Nixon. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, October 30, at Chalice Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 2324 Miller Ave., Escondido. To Pat:
You are so fortunate to have had Duane as your partner and husband for so many years...and what a loss to your life because of of how wonderful a partner and husband he was for so many years!!
