Bobby was a good friend. I remember him "lowering" my 55 Plymouth in high school. Mom was not happy as she participated in a car pool. RIP Bobby, Prayers to the family.

He was one great man. He never showed that he was in any pain.He will be missed for he was part of Eden Gardens. Everybody knew him. We use to pass each other almost every day. Susie and family,
We were so shocked to just hear of Robert's passing. I have missed the sound of his pick up truck starting up in the morning these last few weeks and wondered. Today I found out the reason why and will miss the sound of that truck every morning.

A Memory

Just hearing the name, Bobby, makes me smell the sage brush in the
summer simmer of Del Mar back hills.. The "boonies". There's little
of that brush left, the canyons filled in and the hills cut down.
Where have all of the coyotes, rattlesnakes and rabbits gone? I can hear and chase them in my mind still.
Bobby, brings back the hot
energy of the early morning sunshine chasing away the coastal fogbank.
The smell of engine oil and baking earth wraps his memory. His eyes
twinkle with amusement and patience. He's just a boy and I never knew
the husband, father and the man he became. But, I'll always remember
the beautiful boy, the open hills and the blue, blue sky that was Bobby.

Susie and family. I wish to extend my sincere condolences. Bob was a great guy. I remember Bob lowering my 55 plymouth then I took it home and my mom had to take it to work with her car pool! Remember the good times and cast away the bad till we all meet again.

Sorry to hear about your lost. Bob, was one year ahead of me in High School and I always thought he was soft-spoken and a Gentleman. I will never forgot how the car clubs (Juggs) (Vacabonds) would always park on the lot next to the high school early in the morning before school. I rode the school bus and would look out and see all the guys with their own cars and I did not have one. I truly looked up to those guys and Bob was one of the leaders of the group.
