Dear Gramma,
I have such sorrow in my heart for losing you, but I also hold so much love for all the memories I have with you. I will always remember your smile. I can't think of a time when you didn't have your eyes crinkled up from your big, bright smile. You have such a warmth about you. I will miss your letters and cards. I will miss hearing your stories about when I was a baby. I'm so sad that my girls won't have the opportunity to know you. I have kept ALL the cards you sent them and along with pictures, we will certainly keep your spirit alive. I am at peace knowing you're with Ode and rejoicing with our Lord.

Until I can hug you once more, just "rest your eyes" I love you so much Gramma

I have the best memories of gramma, spending Christmas Eve at her house, playing in the pool, sitting on the back porch and just talking. I am so glad my kids had a chance to get to know their great grandmother. They will have so many special memories of her. We will miss you gramma, but we know we will see you someday again. I love you!

I lost my mother when I was 16 and met Peggy when I was 17. She alway accepted me as her daughter and loved me as her own. We have a lot memories of spending time together doing many things together. She was a dear, dear mother to me and grandmother to my kids. I will always love her and miss her and cherish the memories we had made together. Mom....I will keep looking for those "long lost cousins"
Love you more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the pleasure of knowing Peggy through my mother, Carol Hamilton. They were good friends and neighbors in Pauma Valley.I always enjoyed walking over to Peggy's house to visit with her. We would sit outside on her patio, which always had such beautiful potted and hanging plants that were so lovingly cared for. Peggy loved to talk about her large family. She loved them so much and was very proud of them. My prayers and thoughts are with her family.

I have so many fond memories associated with my time spent with Grandma; stealing peppermint candies and chocolate kisses and picking strawberries at the house in Tustin, the endless card games of contract rummy, the love that she always seemed to have just a little more to give. She was such a kind and loving woman. I'll miss you Grandma.

She was the only grandma I knew, and she filled that role with an abundance of love and compassion. I loved to listen to her tell me about where our family came from and the grandfather I never got to know. Her family was her whole life, and she would never stop letting us know how much we all meant to her. I’ll miss her.

We will certainly miss her. Peggy was a great part of my life for many years. She is with Odie again. God bless them both.

To Peggy's family we would like to express our sadness on behalf of her family still in East Tennessee. I was fortunate to come in contact with her and her family thru genealogy. I have been fortunate to share many fond family memories with her and Terri of the Beck family still remaining in Hawkins and surrounding counties of East Tennessee. I am sure she will be missed by all. Best wishes and love to the family. James E. and Ruby Cobb, 1691 Mullins Rd., Russellville, Tennessee 37860.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Peggy, but was happy that I connected to her through Ancestry.com. Peggy was my Mom's only cousin and she also was pleased to correspond with her. A special thanks to Terri who helped Peggy with this connection. My prayers are with your family.
