How beautiful you were inside and out. I love you so much and even though you have been gone for nine years it seems like yesterday and I deeply miss you. I am so happy for you that you are no longer suffering and I'm sure your flying high checking on your family. You were always a inspiration for me and handled my daily ups and downs. You had so much love and patience for all of us kids. Thank you for letting me be a part of your life and loving me unconditionally.

Vangie and I "hit it off" the first time we met. of course, we had something very special in common...love for our kids, Whitney and Brenda. I didn't get to see Vangie very oftenbut when we did get together, we picked right up and talked non-stop. She was a fun person, always upbeat and positive. I'll miss her and her cheerful spirit. Grandma Vangie, such a joy to even say... I am so blessed that I always had you in my life! As a grandmother, a teacher, a mentor and a soother...I can't thank you enough. Life has always been worth while because of you. You always made EVERYTHING seem possible! And if I couldn't do it, you would "work on it" for me! I loved you more than life itself! But thanks to you, I know that it all means the same... I love you Grandma, thanks for giving me, me. I miss you tremendously, but am sooo happy for you! Fly with the stars! Light us all up once again! That's what you do! Thank you! I love you, forever!

Vangie, You played such a huge role in raising me. I don't know what I would have done or where I would have been without you in my life. Your up beat attitude was such a delight to be around. You stayed positive throughout your life, even when times were seemingly hard. I learned so much from you and will never forget you. I love you, my friend, and my best wishes go out to Brenda, Tina, Norman, and the grand children, you all are in my prayers.

Grandma will always be an active memory for me. Her legacy will live on forever in my heart and soul. She is a healer and a fighter, and I am proud to be her grandaughter.
