Elmer, a great guy, a wonderful engineer, a great friend, so full of interest, always looking for new challenges, never a problem, sorely missed. Elmer may you be iever in peace and always remain fresh in my mind.

I met Elmer when I was a young engineer working at Hughes Aircraft. Because he was such an outstanding person, he became one of my role models. I clearly remember Elmer as a first-class gentleman and first-rate engineering mind. Although I have not seen Elmer in at least a dozen years, he is still sharp and crisp in my mind, and still an ideal on how to be and act. He is missed.

I knew Elmer for 36 years and he was my direct Supervisor for 7 years from 1986 to 1993 at Hughes, Carlsbad. He was one of the most knowledgeable Engineers I ever knew and was a terrific Boss at all times. He always held a great annual party at his place for the people in his Engineering group, and everybody always looked forward to the fun he created at these events. I'm sad to hear of his passing, and I will miss him and remember him always. Kent Ziebold (Vista)
