The pain you endured for so long is finally over. You deserve to rest in peace. Your family and friends will miss you but will never forget you.

December 13, 2010

Dear Julia,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. No matter how expected the death of a loved one is, we are never prepared for the passing of a loved one. Your Mom was a vibrant woman. In my teens when I met her she was a positive example of a strong woman. Something I lacked in my life. I will always remember her laughter and teasing, her way of cutting straight to the heart of a matter. I also acknowledge the years of health issues Laura suffered and know that she is now released from all of our worldly issues. The greatest testament to her life are the five marvelous children Laura raised. May you find peace in knowing your Mom is at peace, a peace that passeth all understanding, until we join her.
Love to all of you,
Shelley Somersett
