Luellen Norris

Luellen "Bachman" Norris, 88 OCEANSIDE -- Luellen "Bachman" Norris went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 6, 2010 in Oceanside, Calif. She was born in Protection, Kansas on July 28, 1922, daughter of Merit and Clara Bachman. She married her Topeka High School sweetheart, Edward Demaree right before WWII began. They raised two children, Jeannette Rudd (Topeka, Kan.) and Mike Demaree (Vista, Calif.). Luellen was a medical transcriber for many years, a homemaker, and a wonderful grandmother to four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She took great pride in her family and loved them all. She was extremely generous and loving to everyone. We will always remember and love Lue for her remarkable ability to inspire and warm hearts and bring out the best in everyone. She is survived by all of the afore mentioned, and her two sisters, Jean and Carol of Topeka, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; two brothers, Earl and Wayne; her husbands, Edward Demaree, William Urich, and William Norris. At her request, there will be no services. She requested no flowers or donations. Just a card would be appreciated. Her Legacy will be her love for God and the Joy and Love that she freely and naturally gave to so many.
