I know it's been some time, but every time I'm met with a challenge I tell myself to NEGU, for Jessie, she would have loved to do this. I am young, still in school. I learned years after she became an angle. I learned of Jessie when I was 11, while in OC, Calif. unlike my siblings, her story stuck with me, I am forever grateful for her story, because now I know how difficult life is, but no matter what, you'll get through it, NEGU. I always think of her on birthdays, D-days, and Heaven Days. I love her story and imagine how Shaya and JT felt and I cry, I never knew her, how did they get through it, AND make this world such a better place. I hope that Jessie is smiling down her beautiful smile for all of Calif. to see.
We ❤ you!

Thinking of you on your 21st. birthday.
Who is better to spend it with than our Lord Jesus Christ?
Currently on Earth, there is a bad sickness called the Corona Virus, which has made it necessary for people in all countries to stay away from each other, to prevent spreading.
But, it has actually caused families to spend more time together, and even attend church via their computers. People are beginning to remember to love one another again, and to worship our Lord.
Jessie - you will always be loved, and never forgotten.

Jessie's earthly birthday today would be age 19.
She passed thru this world as a young, beautiful, kind-hearted child who suddenly became very ill. In childrens hospital, she saw & felt a need bring smiles back to the precious faces of patients who became her friends. Today, her legacy continues to thrive, & shine the light of Jesus into the lives of children worldwide, as they each receive a Joy Jar filled with toys, and her inspiring message of courage to Never Ever Give Up (NEGU).
Jessica Joy Rees inspires us all to live a selfless life, that can truly change the world!

Today would've been your 18th "earthly" birthday.
So many things have changed since your passing - particularly in America. I wonder if there is a sense of "time" in your Heavenly home? Have you remained the beautiful, angelic 12 year old that answered the Lord's calling? This I do know - you will forever be missed and forever be loved by countless people here. Your life made a difference Jessie.

To Jessica Joy -
I am thinking of you, and your wonderful earthly family, especially today, on the 4th anniversary of the day you joined your heavenly family. If only you could tell us what it's like to receive a totally new, perfect "body" - to be cradled in the loving arms of Jesus, and look deep into His omniscient eyes. I know you've made Him smile.

Was driving in the car recently, and passed a bus-stop rest area. I got a brief glimpse of a large advertisement poster there. It featured the captivating picture of you that the world has now embraced - along with your signature message, NEVER EVER GIVE UP (NEGU). Seeing it tugged at my heart, then spoke to me - "A life lived to be a blessing to others, has great eternal value - blending the boundaries of our physical and spiritual worlds".

Earlier today I was encouraging a client to stay positive, think of her ABILITIES, remember how far she's come, and never forget how priceless her life is. I was saddened to see the age of this young angel who died far too young after spending such a short time with us and those she loved and touched. We know that Jessica is in a much better place. I wish to offer my sincere condolences to her family and her friends. Just to give you all some peace of mind and help with the healing, remember her smile will be the sun shining down on you.

Today, a 75 year old woman told me she wants to get her first tattoo - NEGU. Said that Jessie's powerful testimony really inspired her. She actually wants to have NEGU tattooed in Braille in honor of her granddaughter who is losing her eyesight. The granddaughter is already tattooed "We walk by faith & not by sight.". Makes me wonder how many people around the world have NEGU tattoos in various languages. One say we may see the word NEGU defined In the dictionary as the universal word for "faithful endurance".

Wonderful admonition from a young person, we must all continually persevere through many trials, for in this day and time there shall be many and no one is immune to such things. There is however a greater and more abiding possession that many hold dear; a hope that no one in this world can offer us. To live forever is a desire that all humans have, God created it within us and we have that opportunity, God gives us that provided we obey him wholeheartedly and with all love. He offers us a beautiful hope to live forever and to do away with death forever. 1 cor. 15:26. My heart goes out to the reese family on a great loss and my thoughts be with your family. Keep your faith in God's promises,Its the greatest hope we have.

Jessie's NEGU legacy has already changed our world in the 9 days since she "graduated" to Heaven. About a week ago, my husband came home from work (Los Angeles) and ttold me that
his co-workers were talking about how remarkable she was. Then I ate at a restaurant, (Tustin) where I saw a woman readiing the newspaper with Jessie's picture and story on the front . Next, I had my hair done (Costa Mesa)) and was sharing about Jessie's Celebration Service, when an eves-dropper said "Are you talking about the little NEVER GIVE UP girl?" Yesterday, two of my home-exercise clients (Fountain Valley & Newport Beach) each saved different newspaper articles about Jessie for me. Today is my birthday, and my children called. My son (Dubai pilot) said Jessie is well-known in several countries. Lastly, my daughter called (Oregon), and asked me to donate her Beanie Baby collection to Jessie's Joy Jars.
Sometimes we may wonder what difference can one life make? Well, consider the examples of lives well spent by Jessica Joy Rees - and her Saviour.

The Little Angel Fell Asleep
A tiny gem
Was placed on earth—
Truly special
From her birth.
Lots of joy,
She has given;
And now gently
Rests in heaven.
Such little angel,
Meant to be,
Was a child
Of destiny—
Who laughed and loved,
Then fell asleep:
Ten-thousand kisses
‘Pon her cheek.

TO THE REES FAMILY
And a woman who held a babe against her bosom said,"Speak to us of Children."
And he said:
Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you,yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts.
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries, with yesterday.
You are the bows from which you children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and he bends you with his might that his arrows may swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness:
For even as he loves the arrow that flies,so he loves also the bow that is stable.
GOD PLEASE BLESS THIS FAMILY AND KEEP YOUR BEAUTIFUL ANGELS AROUND THEM

At my desk, I have 2 pictures of Jessica. One with her father, the other with her mother. The father one is where he is on his knee looking up at her, the other, her mother is in the car holding her and comforting her. My heart breaks every time I see those pictures, and they remind me of how shallow I am. I have 2 daughters and I can only imagine how broken I would be. Then I think how scared she must have been. I pray for Mr. and Mrs. Rees and I pray for Jessica. I wish I was half the person she was and is.

My heart goes out to the family of little Jessica who had such an enourmous amount of courage and faith at such a young age. My family and I lost my brother on good Friday in 2010 to stomach cancer. He was a 30 year army veteran who was diagnosed 2 months after his retirement and never had a chance to enjoy life as a civilian. He had to leave behind a 14 year old daughter whom he totally adored! The loss of my brother has been the hardest thing that I've ever had to deal with but I can't imagine the pain of losing a child. May you find comfort in your memories of her and know that she suffers no more--she now dwells in the house of the lord forever!
