I just watched the 30 for 30 documentary on Reggie White and wanted to say thank you. I became a believer in 2000, and was finishing college as an adult student the year Mr. White passed over. Because of school's demands I lost touch with my love of football for several years, and did not realize any of this about Mr. White. I have placed his family in our prayers.

I never like football until I saw Reggie White playing and the way he went to the end of the field and jumped up and touched hands with his fans. What a man! When I started learning about his Christianity, I was even more impressed with him. God definitely had an angel helping Him here on earth, and not in Heaven.

On the 10th anniversary of Mr. Reggie White's death, I post my "honor" to one of the most respected men of all time. I would like to hear what he would have to say about all the "dirty" defensive players of today's era. You will never be forgotten, Sir. Respectfully, JFM

I certainly miss my old team mate. You were a great football player at Tennessee, and the NFL. But what impressed me more about you - you were a greater man. It's still hard to believe you're gone, but your assignments on earth were complete. Now all those seeds you planted along your journey are now germinated and taken root; they are constantly spreading throughout this nation and the world. I speak from experience. I too received from the ministry within you.
I know you are at peace my brother.

My prayer is that this poem God gave me will comfort you. It is: MESSAGE FROM REGGIE: From the day I was conceived God had for me a plan. He wanted me to get involved to help my fellow man. I know your hearts are heavy & you miss having me there. But I'm with God in heaven where no one has a care. Heaven is so beautiful I'm walking streets of gold. Now I'm serving others including saints of old. It really was amazing when I walked through the gate. I saw the beauty of this place and I could hardly wait. To come into the presence of The Father and The Son. Hearing Him say to me the priceless words "WELL DONE!" You should see my mansion it's a sight to see. Jesus had it custom built especially for me. I'm having the best time up here so don't be sad and blue. I'm looking forward to the day when I can usher you; into this very special place where God is on His throne and we will have the honor to worship Him alone!
Thank you Reggie for your service.

My most heartfelt prayers for Mr. White's family & friends & fans (of which I now find myself). I only "just" saw the movie Reggies Prayer, on JCTV. Many have been inspired, and I imagine saved in Jesus Name, for Mr. White's contrabution to The Gospel. He will always be a hero....

To the family of Mr.Reggie White, A great football player he was, it must be hard for you Ms. Sara in these times you really need encouragement , and I find that the Bible has that comfort, Isaiah 25:8,9 says: He (God) will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. Isn't that a wonderful thing to know ? It also speaks of that day one will certainly say : Look! this our God we have hoped in him, and he will save us this is Jehovah ,we have hoped in him let us be joyful and rejoice in the salvation by him. Please fill free to get in touch with me and I am truly sorry for your loss. 14128 S. To the White Family,
I am truely sorry for your loss, Reggie was way to young to depart from this world. He is my age and his death was an eye opener for me to appricate every day I am here. I also have lost several freiends and family members so I understand the loss of a loved one. Words cannot describe the empty feeling one has after a loss. Thank you for allowing us to have our own relationship with him as Packer fans. I will always be thank full for his commetment as a player but I must say he shined far more as a man. I will never forget the pride he had rasing the Lombardi trophy.
God bless your family.

Dear Reggie and family, You were a true hero to the Philadelphia Eagle fans. You epitomized the phrase, "Gentleman, Athlete, Family Man, and Lover of God." You are missed in Philadelphia. I can remember one time in an Eagle's game, you recovered a fumble and ran twenty or so yards to a TD, in a Monday night game. Seeing your large frame move that quickly was interesting. Eagles fans of all ages, I am sure, Love and Miss You. I certainly do. You were a role model for a City and it's fans. May You Rest in Peace & Eternity. My condolences to your family. God Bless.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Dear White Family, I remember the first time I saw Reggie White play football. In 1997 I was ten, I loved it. It was not just how he played the game but how he was in life. Although im only about 19 I try my best to live the way Mr. White did. I always loved football but never got to play because of my cerebral palsy but I try so hard to put my faith in the Lord just like he did because just like Reggie said through the Lord you can do ANYTHING! I just hope I can be as good a man as him so I can see my hero again some day. God Bless You.

DEAR SARA,
I WAS LOOKING THROUGH THE DEATH NOTICE FOR SOMEONE WITH THE LAST NAME WHITE, WHEN I STUMBBLED UPON REGGIE'S GUESS BOOK. I JUST HAD TO MAKE THIS ENTRY TO LET YOU KNOW THAT THE GREAT MAN THAT YOU AND YOUR KIDS LOVED SO VERY MUCH WAS ALSO LOVED AND RESPECTED BY SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE. PEOPLE THAT ADMIRED HIS STRENGHT AND INTEGRITY AND THAT INFECTIOUS SMILE OF HIS. I AND MY TWIN ALWAYS WOULD SAY THAT OUR EX-BROTHER-LAW LOOKED JUST LIKE REGGIE WHITE. I WILL CONTIUNE TO PRAY FOR GOD TO COMFORT YOU AND THE KIDS.I STILL FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT REGGIE IS NO LONGER WITH US BUT UP IN HEAVEN SITTING WITH HIS HEAVENLY FATHER LOOKING DOWN AND WATCHING OVER HIS FAMILY AND SMILING WITH SUCH PRIDE AT HOW WONDERFULLY YOU ALL ARE HOLDING UP. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO WALK BESIDE EACH OF YOU. [email protected]

To the Reggie White family,
I've been a Green Bay Packer fan since early childhood (Lombardi era). I soon became a huge fan of Reggie White when he came to play in Green Bay. I was not only a fan of #92 as a player, but more importantly, I became a fan of his because of what he stood for and believed in. On the day of his death, I wore my #92 Packer Home jersey in his honor, because he had been called Home. I pray that God will continue to bless your family and fill the void in your lives without Reggie.

Dear Sara,
This is my second entry in the guest book, the first was shortly after this site was opened. I just wanted to tell you, that seeing Reggie inducted into the NFL Football Hall of Fame is the fianl milestone in a stellar career. He was by far, my most favourite lineman of all time, and I miss watching him play. You should also know that my dad & mom were big Packers fans, and Reggie was one of my dad's favourite players. I know that he is with God, as you & the children know also, but rest assured, he is with the King now. May God Bless you & the children always.

Dear Sara and Family,
The tribute that you and your children made to Reggie on Saturday was amazing. I know that he would be so proud of all of you. Your daughter has a beautiful god given voice that angels would envy, your son is an eloquent speaker and a fine young man and you are a strong, capable, intelligent woman who I believe captured the essence of who Reggie was and what he would have said had he been there. It is nice to finally see him enshrined in the Hall of Fame where he will live on forever as he does in all of our hearts. God bless you and yours.

Dear Sara
I am a disabled adult. I watched your husband play for many years. I can not express the joy I experienced watching his complete, masterful play. I know he is now with God, and watching over you, and your children. The world lost a great human being. Fans lost a wonderful hero. This loss, in no way; can compare with yours. I am happy to see him inducted to The Hall Of Fame.

Sara,as I prepared for work on Saturday, August 5,2006 at 5:30 a.m., I seen you briefly make comments, crying about the speech you had to make. At that moment I begin to pray and ask God to stengthen you. When I return home at 4:00 p.m., I was able to see God at work through you. You was strong, confident and handled yourself well. Your family is beautiful and your husband touched my family every time we watched him on television. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Sara, I sat in my chair and cried Saturday afternoon when you and your son showed off Reggie's Hall of Fame bust for the first time. You must be very, very proud of Reggie and your wonderful family. Thank you for a very inspirational speach, and your son and daughter were simply terrific. I'm 43 years old, still young enough to know Reggie is my role model forever. My mother simply loved your husband on and off the football field, she passed away 16 years ago. I hope she gets to shake Reggie's hand in heaven.

It is unfortunate that when I heard we were related and I tried to reach out to you we never connected.
I am so pleased to know that my Pastor Dr. Price endorsed your ministerial writings. It is comforting in a sense to know that there is an indirect bond between us in the spiritual although never confirmed in the natural. It is my prayer that we meet on the other side.
My heartfelt sympathy is extended to the family. May God cover you now and forever.

i have been i life long football/Green Bay Packers fan. In my 42 years of playing & watching sports i have never seen a better athlete than Reggie. I even wrote Reggie, to invite him & yourself to my wedding in 2001. the best of luck ,

The legacy of this man, has inspired me to pick the major that I have; Sports Ministry. Very rare major, but one that I wouldn't have choosen if my Father had not told me a story about Reggie White (when I was young, and learning the game of football) about how when White was on the line and would witness to the player of the opposite team before the play started. The inspiration from White and the legacy he has left behind inspires me still to participate in collegiate sports with the same determination and attitude as once I was told that Reggie White had. I attempt to leave the same legacy behind one day, but I know that I can't come even close because no one can be the one and only Reggie White.
