Irving Selig Behr

BEHR--Irving Selig, M.D., 92, on September 11, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Florence Behr; devoted companion of Hannah Lovitts; loving father of Joan and Donald Schaeffer, the late Dr. Bruce Behr and Tami Behr Graner; cherished grandfather of Andrew, Brittany and Joshua; dear brother of Sylva Altschul and the late Lem Altschul; caring brother-in-law of Dr. Herbert Berger and the late Dr. Ruth Berger, and Marilyn Berger; adored uncle, cousin and friend. He lived a long and productive life with vitality, strength of character and a sense of humor. He will live in our hearts forever. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 16, at 9:15am at Boulevard-Riverside Chapels, 1450 Broadway, Hewlett, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Irving S.
