Sol Pottish Obituary

POTTISH--Sol. With deep sadness we mourn the passing of Sol Pottish, our dear friend, a former partner and mentor. Sol Pottish was the dean of the Tax Certiorari field and at the firm he founded, Pottish Freyberg Marcus & Velazquez, was responsible for obtaining the largest real estate tax refund in New York City. He was admitted to the Bar in 1932 and enjoyed a long and varied legal career serving as General Counsel at Tishman Speyer Realty and Construction. His life's work of 97 years included many charitable endeavors. The partners, associates and staff of Marcus & Pollack extend our condolences to his wife Barbara Pottish and his daughters Nancy and Laurie.
