WE didn't know Alan well; actually only saw him at TRIO annual dinner dance; yet, every year we were greeted by him as if we were long-time friends. He was a warm and gracious person and will be sorely missed by the TRIO family.

Although I never met Alan, I want to send my and my wifes condolences to his family. I received a liver transplant one year ago sept. Reading Alan's obituary and the wonderful things his friends said about him and the way he lived his life after transplant is truly an inspiration to me. I wish I met the man.
