Kathleen ARNOLD Obituary

Kathleen "Sissie" Arnold

Kathleen "Sissie" Arnold, born Feb. 22, 1952, departed this life Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Barbara Arnold and Wyatt Wilson. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Emmeline Wilson, Harriett V. Woodson and Caroline Bloch.

She leaves behind her sister, Maude Wilson; three children, Robert Arnold, Lorenzo Arnold (Kim) and Jacqueline Arnold, all of Lynchburg; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two devoted friends, Althea Veneable and James Mosley; and a host of loving family members and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at Community Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Old City Cemetery. The family is receiving friends and the cortege will assemble at 409 Grayson St.
