PAIVA - Zulmira, (nee Carvalho), 82, of Farmingdale, NY, on June 24, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Augusto Paiva. Devoted mother of Linda (Gus) Paiva, Nuno (Claribel) Paiva, Helen (Frank) Lamberti and the late Roy Paiva. Devoted grandmother of Mark (Karen), Karin (Mark), Jennifer, Lisa (Ryan), Christina, Joseph, and Kyra. Cherished great-grandma of Bobby, Lucas, Nathaniel, Dylan, Ellianna, Riley, and one on the way. Dear sister of Elvira Carvalho and Candida Pereira and the late Jose Carvalho and Maria Santos. Known to all as VoVo and loved beyond measure. She will be greatly missed and be in our hearts forever. Reposing at the Frederick J. Chapey & Sons Bethpage Funeral Home, 20 Hicksville Road (1 mile north of Southern State Parkway, Exit 29). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial, St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church, Bethpage, Saturday, 9:45am. Interment, Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, NY. Visiting, Thursday 7-9:30pm and Friday 2-4:30 and 7-9:30pm.
