LUPETIN - Leonard Lee, (Lenny), 48, of Mastic, NY, formerly of Shoreham, suddenly on July 25, 2008. Retired U.S. Coast Guard. Loving Father of Joseph. Devoted son of Eileen and the late Leonard M. Lupetin. Dear brother of Christine Mucelli and her husband Rich and cherished uncle of Ricky, Matthew, Kelsey and Amy. Reposing 2-4, 7-9pm Monday, Alexander-Tuthill Funeral Home, 6447 Rt25A, Wading River, NY www.alexandertuthillfuneral.com Funeral Mass 10am Tuesday, St. Anslem's Episcopal Church, Shoreham. I am shocked and sadden to hear of Lenny's passing. My condolences and prayers are with his family. I'll always remember Lenny as my first movie date back in 6th Grade when Mrs. Lupetin dropped us off in Rocky Point and also listening to him play that trumpet! I was so saddened to hear of Lenny's passing. One of my earliest memories of Shoreham is walking across the backyards to your house to play with my new found friends, Chrissie and her big brother. It is always so sad to lose one of it's nations heros. To give all you have for your country is commendable.

Putting forth to your country before your family is the toughest choice any servicemember has to endure.

Losing a hero's life before it ever began is not fair nor is it right. We are sorry.

For us, all we can do is honor your career, accomplishments, and the sacafices you had to make. We are thankful, I salute you!
