REID - Catherine, of Bay Shore, LI, on August 6, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Richard Myles Reid. Devoted mother of Dorothea and Peter Coughlin, Jeannette and Tony Breglio, Linda and Brian Coughlin, Michele and Tom Wolpert and Andrea and Jesse Jablon. Cherished grandmother of ten, one deceased grandchild and three great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Dolly Piccoli, Sonny Pace and Frances Lavecchio. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile West of the Robert Moses Cswy.). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial Monday 10:00am at St. Patrick's R.C. Church, Bay Shore, LI. Interment to follow at Long Island National Cemetery, Pinelawn, LI. Visiting Sunday 2-4:30 and 7-9:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Catherine's name may be made to Hospice Inn, 70 Pinelawn Rd., Melville, NY 11747.

To my cousins, Dorothy, Jeanette, Linda, Michelle and Andrea

Even though I can't be with you physically, you're continually in my thoughts and prayers. Aunt Katie was such a wonderful person--so kind and generous. She was an understanding woman who gave of herself to others. I'm grateful to have such loving and fun memories of her. May you sense the presence of your Heavenly Father during this painful time.
