Mary Frances McLoughlin Reilly

REILLY - Mary Frances McLoughlin, on August 7, 2008. Was born in Park Slope, Brooklyn, January 15, 1917 to a large, loving, multi- generational family. Summers were spent at their treasured home in Becket, MA. In 1942, Mary Frances married Chester A. Reilly and had six children. She and her husband were founding members of Holy Family Church, Hicksville where Mary Frances was involved as a lector, extra- ordinary minister, driver for FISH and many other volunteer organizations. She was the first president of the Holy Family School Board. Mary Frances was a full time, loving, involved mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother. After Chester died in 1981, Mary Frances traveled the world, worked for the Gregory Museum in Hicksville and continued her pursuit of lifelong learning. Predeceased by her husband, Chester, granddaughter Ruth and son Joseph, she is survived by Peggy (Fred), Mary Mathews (Kevin), Elizabeth (Steve), Philip (Cathi), John (Laurie), twenty grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to St. Joseph's Adult Home, 350 Cuba Hill Road, Huntington, NY 11731 or VNS and Hospice of Suffolk, Inc, Northport, NY 11731. Family and friends may visit the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, 125 Old Country Road, Hicksville on Friday 4-8pm. Funeral Mass Saturday 10:00am at Holy Family R.C. Church, Hicksville, NY. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery Westbury, NY.
