Peter Heuermann Obituary

HEUERMANN - Peter J., passed away peacefully on the evening of August 10, 2008. Lifetime member of the Uniondale Fire Department. U.S. Air Force WWII veteran. Retired Lilco worker. Beloved husband of Phyllis. Loving father of Laura Robillard, Richard Heuermann and Lyn Heuermann. Reposing Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9:30pm at C.S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc. 302 Bedford Ave. Bellmore, where a religious service will be held in the evening. Funeral Wednesday 10am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice Care Network or Heart Research at St. Francis Hospital.

My consoldences to Phyllis and Peter's children on the death of this kind man. As we always joked, I was his favorite daughter-in-law and he was my favorite father-in-law. I will miss him terribily. He was a good grandfather to my children and a fun great grandpa to my grandchildren. I will miss him but know that we will meet again some day. Love, Johnnie
