(Connie) and Jill Degen. Adored grandfather of Meghan, Peter A., Michael and the late Deirdre. Friends may call Monday 2-5 and 7-9pm at the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Homes, Levittown Chapel. 2786 Hempstead Tpke (2 blocks East of the Wantagh Parkway). Funeral Mass Tuesday 10am. St. Brigid R.C. Church, Westbury. Interment Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of this wonderful man. He was one of the finest men I have ever known and I am a better person for knowing him. I have never respected anyone more than him. He will be missed by everyone who ever knew him.
