Lucille Carrano Obituary


CARRANO - Lucille Genevieve Marmon, born March 24, 1922, daughter of H. Victor and Alpha Elizabeth Marmon. Survived by her husband, LTC (ret.) Con N. Carrano, three sons and daughters-in-law, Prof. Carl and Mary Carrano of San Diego, Michael and Anita Carrano of Hartford CT, LTC (ret.) John and Nancy Carrano of Austin, and one daughter and son-in-law, Eleanor and Patrick Sweeney of Schaefferstown, PA. Also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and Rosemary Marmon of San Antonio, and sister Geneva Jacobson of Houston. Lucille was the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren, Jessica and MarcPierre Jansen, Julia Lucille Carrano, Eleanor Carrano, Jacob Carrano, Paul Carrano, Matthew Carrano, Anna Carrano, Elise Simeone, Hannah Simeone, Sean Sweeney, Rory Sweeney, Catie Sweeney and one great-grandchild, Emile Paul Jansen. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30am on Thursday, August 21, 2008, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 5455 Bee Cave Road, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00am. Interment will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, August 21st at Coker Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association and/or Catholic Relief Services.
