Mr. Schleimer, I will miss you very, very much, more than words can say as will Derek. Derek called you his "other" grandpa when we would talk about how you took him in by the hand when he was a little boy to do gardening at your house. He and I will never forget you. Your memory will always be with us. I know, together you and my Dad will always watch out for us from up above. We loved you very much and will miss your warm smile. Schlaffe in Ruh. Love, Alexandra and Derek

Daddy, I will always love and miss you. You were taken from us much too early. I don't know if the scar that is left on my heart will ever mend. But I want you to know that every other man in my life will have to measure up to you, because you set the standard. Alex misses you, and my heart breaks that you will not get to see the new baby (who is due on your birthday). But I will keep your memory alive, I promise you.
I love you more than I can say.
-Diane

A very nice person who made a nervous teenage boy dating his daughter feel welcome whenever I came to his home. Rest in peace.
