Arthur Duffield Obituary
DUFFIELD - Arthur Charles, left our world May 10, 2008. Army veteran, Artie Duffield enjoyed Reno's Hot August Nights, FL antique tractor shows and traveling with Ashes, his 12 year-old cat. Duffield was born in Patchogue to Molly and Leslie Duffield. They and brother Robert preceded him in death. Living 20 years in Palm City, FL, he retired from Grumman Aerospace after 35 years. Children include Terry Chase of Denver, CO; Peggy Rew and Patty Oliphant of Sparks, NV; Keith Duffield of BelAir, MD; Laurie Rodriguez of Chesapeake, VA; John Duffield of Norfolk, VA; Kathy Echols of Richmond, VA; 12 grandchildren, four great-children, nieces, nephews and friends a-plenty. Charitable gifts can be sent to Grumman Retirees' Education Scholarship Fund (Duffield), 420 S.W. South River Dr., #101, Stuart, FL 34997. Services are set for Saturday, September 13, 2008 9am-12pm at Moloney's Lake Funeral Home at 132 Ronkonkoma Ave., Ronkonkoma, NY.
