Dear Chris,
Thank you for becoming my friend. And although I told you I could take care of myself, I really appreciated you making sure I always got home safe. You have no idea what that small act of kindness meant to me. Even though I'm signing this anonymous, you'll know who I am. Thank you. I'll always miss you.

Dear Mr. And Mrs. Moscato,
The only thing i can say to you is thank you. Thank you for bringing Chris into this world. If you didn't I would have never got a chance to meet such a geniuen, sweet, caring, giving, gentleman. He has touched my heart in more ways then one. I wish i could see him one more time just to say thank you. Thank you for the 1000 hugs the 1000 kisses, the million ralphs italian ices, the hundred lunches and all the laughs that we shared together. The memories are endless and will never be forgotten. You raised a wonderful man. I will be seeing you again and i am so sorry for this devastating loss.

Chris was a friend of mine at Marist College. He was the one person in our group of friends that you could always rely on. Whether it was to simply show up when he said he would, or to give you his shoulder to lean on, he always pulled through... and it never went unnoticed. He may be gone in body, but I know for a fact that he made an impression on all of us that will never be forgotten.

Mr. and Mrs. Moscato,
I am truly sorry for your loss. Having the opportunity to watch Chris grow from a quiet freshman into a genuine, loyal, loving and caring Man was something I will cherish forever. These great characteristics and many others are why he was loved by us all. You should be very proud of your son and know that the two of you raised such a great man. I will always remember all the great memories I have of being with him and hold them close to my heart.
Chris, I love you and will never forget you.
Love Always,

To the Moscato family:
I was also a Marist graduate from the class of 2007, and I live on First Street in East Northport. I didn't get to know Chris during my time at Marist but I just wanted to say I'm so sorry for your loss, and I hope that everyone's fond memories of Chris can comfort you.

Mr. & Mrs. Moscato,
I cannot say that I knew Chris as well as many of the other people's entries here. We were classmates at Marist and I really only knew him through my roommates. I can say that I was really lucky to have known him at all. I do know that by all of his friends at Marist he was respected and loved and from all of the times we did come into contact I have only positive and fun memories. It was truly disheartening to learn of your loss and I wanted to extend my deepest sympathies. Your family and Chris's friends are and will remain in my thoughts and prayers. I am lucky to have had the priviledge of knowing him, even if it was too brief.
Sincerely,
Kathryn DeMartini

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Moscato,
Christopher was a wonderful person. He was kind, respectful, and caring to everyone he was around. You both raised a great son. I loved when he would come to my parents house or we would go to Marist. I always had a great time when he was around and I have wonderful memories of him that will never be forgotten. He always made me laugh and smile. I am sorry for your loss.
Drama--Thanks for always making me laugh and smile. You will be missed, but will all ways be remembered in my heart, thoughts and prays. I will never forget you.

Dear Pat and Sal,
There are no words to bring you comfort when you lose a child. I just want you both to know that I'm here for you if ever you need someone, someone who understands the pain you're going through. I pray that you will find the strength to get through the days ahead and that someday you will find comfort knowing that you were blessed by Christopher's presence in your lives. Today, on the 11th anniversary of his death, I grieve not only for my son Frankie, but for your son, Christopher. They are both together now in heaven, our two angels.

Dear Sal and Pat,
Although we didn't know Christopher as an adult, we could see from all of the flowers, pictures, and people that he was truly loved and a vibrant part of the lives of his family and friends. We came today as parents - supporting our friends in their most terrible moment. We cannot even fathom the pain, the loss, the agony -- but we know that our hearts are heavy for you both.
With our deepest sympathy....may he rest in peace.

Dear Pat and Sal,
We couldn't even imagine what you are going through right now. If you need anything (even crying on the phone), we are here for you. Christopher was truly amazing, he even left a seven year old with a wonderful memory:
Dear Pat & Sal,
I am very sorry for what happened. My last memory of Christopher was him dancing with me at his graduation party. I love you very much and you are in my prayers.

Dear Pat and Sal:
You both did a wonderful job as parents as evidenced by how successful Chris became. We remember his happy, cheery personality. As a young boy, he was always inquisitive and bright and always made us smile.
In Chris' short life on this earth he made a lasting difference in many people's lives.
God has blessed you with this beautiful life that you have shared together. Hold on to the joys of those memories and let them always encourage you and bring you joy and peace.
We are here for you - with love

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Moscato,
Our son, Brian met Chris the very first day at Marist and
from there the friendship developed. From the Marist dorms
to Mill St. and then on to Sunset Ave. they have shared so
many happy memories. This past week as I watched Brian
look through all his pictures I could see how much Chris has
meant to him and how deep the hole is in his heart.
Whenever Chris came to our home he was so polite and
always took a few moments to have a conversation with us. You should be very proud to have Chris as your son.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Chris,
You had one of the most welcoming personalities of anyone I have ever met. I am so glad to have met you at school and become such great friends with you, I will never forget the times we shared or the memories we created. The only words I can find to describe my feelings are that I love you. You were a great friend and will be deeply missed. I will never forget you.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Moscato,
You should be extremely proud of the man Chris came to be. Chris was one of the most honest, loyal, and caring men that I've come to know and love. I've always had the utmost respect for Chris due to his strong ethics, morals, values, and character. More importantly the one thing I will always remember about Chris is the fact that he put his friends first. Whenever someone needed anything, we could always count on your son to help us along the way. Words cannot express the tremendous feeling of loss that we all are sharing.
My deepest condolences,

Dear Mr & Mrs Moscato,
My son, Jason met Chris at Marist and they became very good friends.
He was a very special young man. When he would come to our house, he would always have the time to sit and have a conversation.
Our new very unfriendly shy puppy, at the time, took to him immediately and enjoyed being petted by him.
Two weeks ago my son and Chris enjoyed a great day at the ballpark watching the Mets for a doubleheader.
We are very fortunate that Jason met such a wonderful friend and he will always be forever in our hearts.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Our deepest sympathy,

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Moscato,
Thank you for raising such a wonderful young man. Chris truly was one of the best friends I could have asked for. He was always there for me and every one of his friends when they were in need. He was always there for me when I needed a shoulder to lean on.
Chris - you will be deeply missed. I will keep memories of you and the fun we had together alive forever. I love you.

Pat & Sal,
Although I did not have the privilege of knowing Christopher as I know the two of you, the testimonials here show that he is equal parts of both of you - loving, caring, dependable and a true friend. Hold onto that knowing that God needed him in some special way that we can never understand - Christopher will always be in the hearts of his family and friends.
With Love, Sharon

Dear Sal and Patricia:
Our son, Doug, met Chris during their freshman year at Marist and they became fast friends. They were lucky enough to become part of a close-knit group of kids that became their family away from home, and Chris was at the heart of this extended family. They lived together, studied together, and played together. Chris was always in the stands at Doug’s hockey games, was supportive in Doug’s selection of his college major, and they joined a fraternity together. I know that Chris will be part of every memory that Doug has of his college years. We are grateful to you for raising the special young man who became a wonderful friend to Doug.
We are praying for you,
Mike and Nancy Engler

Dear Drama,
On Sunday morning at 2:50am I tragically lost one of the most important and influential people in my life to date, a part of me died that faithful morning. I still cant come to grips with you not being here anymore. I have been waiting for you to call me and say, "Walsh I'm alright" but day by day I realize this is never gonna happen again. I need you here to consol me over you because you were one of the few who completely understood me.
I remember the first date of college like it was yesterday when I met a shy young guy from Chaminade High School. You were quiet and kept to yourself, but eventually opened up and became one of my best friends. There are so many moments that I truly cherished from playing fifa in my room all day long to watching McGuyer episodes before we went to bed at night or arguing about sports like nobody else did. that I will never be able to tell you how much i enjoyed them and you.
There is one thing that I have always wanted to thank you for but never did..... I want to thank you for coming down and supporting me at EVERYONE of my intramural bball games freshman year. You'll never know what that meant to me.... I LOVE AND MISS YOU DRAMA
Mr. and Mrs. Moscato - Chris was are one of the most genuinely NICE people I have ever meet and you should be so proud of your son. He is a model on how to care about people and we should all strive to be half as caring as he was. I am truly truly sorry for this devastating loss.

Dear Mrs. & Mr. Moscato,
Chris was truly the most kind hearted person I have every met. Words can not describe the amount of compassion and love he had for his family and friends. I will carry Chris’s sense of love and kindness in my heart every day of my life. Chris was loved by many, and is missed by even more. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I love you Chris.
