Sorry I couldn't get this done yesterday Unc. But... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I MISS YOU SO MUCH. I hope you liked your flowers and balloons! Oh don't worry wait till Easter! You can't get me back--OHH looks like we have the last laugh! By the way I forgot to leave you a beer, Yes I'll make up for it this weekend!!The boys did have a bud for you yesterday. WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Oh Uncle, I'm sorry it has taken me so long to write - for the first time in my life I have been at a loss for words. There simply are no words to express my love for you, my gratitude for all you did for me, and the insurmountable pain I feel at your loss. I wish I could tell you. I hope you knew. I will never, ever be the same without you there. I will never stop missing you as long as I live, and I hope, I pray, that we will be together again someday, somehow, somewhere. You are, and always were, as much a father to me as my own dad, and you were a wonderful father, Jerry. I love you, always. I will never forget.

Dear Jerry:
I met you when I was 15 years old. You were my "first crush". I remember you as always joking with me and when you smiled, it lit up my heart. Through the years, I learned to respect you for the man you were. I watched as you took care of your sister and your nieces and nephews. You were always there with a helping hand or to make people laugh with your wisecracks.
If there is a fish store in heaven, you will be running it with a beer in your hand.
I will never forget you and will always think of you with a smile on your face and a wisecrack for me.
You are loved very much. Rest in Peace. I know you will always be there to watch over your family.
