James Tuohey Obituary

TUOHEY - James P., of Florida formerly of Bethpage on September 25, 2008 in his 59th year. Beloved son of Leo and Patricia (nee Leonard). Cherished brother of Stephen (Theresa), Maureen Upton (James), Gerard (Donna), Jean Marie Tuohey and Jack Tuohey. Loving uncle of James, Brian, John and Ryan. James was a Proud United States Army Veteran who served his country with honor in the Republic of Vietnam as a Chief Warrant Officer and Helicopter Pilot with the 57th Med Co., Air Ambulance Helicopter "Dustoff" Company. James was also a member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association and VFW. Reposing Tuesday after 2pm at Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Home 603 Wantagh Avenue (SS PKWY, exit 28N) Wantagh, NY. Mass of Christian Burial at St. James R.C. Church, Seaford, NY on Wednesday, 10:15am. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9.

Dear Friends and Family of James P. Tuohey,
I am grieved to hear of Jim's death. Please accept my sincere condolences. On behalf of my family, please accept our deepest sympathy. Jim will be greatly missed in our life's. He was a dear friend and Supervisor. We will miss his sense of humor and warm smile. We are fortunate to have gotten to know him and to have been able to work along side of him for so many years.
