Howard Harnne

HARNNE - Howard, of Massapequa, NY, on September 24, 2008. Emigrated from South Korea in 1948 at the age of 21. Earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Alabama and a Masters Degree from Cornell University in Mechanical Engineering. Continued post-graduate study in Nuclear Physics. A printer by trade for more than 50 years; He was a familiar face to New York City music publishers like Warner Bros. and EMI to name a few. He printed sheet music and song folios for major artists, including The Loving Spoonful, Melanie, Tim Hardin and many others. Pet projects included biographies of Elvis Presley and Judy Garland. He is survived by his wife Sue, a son David, one granddaughter, one brother, three sisters, nine stepchildren, 25 step-grandchildren, 24 step-great-grandchildren and seven step-great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins and many friends and colleagues. He will surely be missed both personally and professionally. Reposing at Massapequa Funeral Home Inc. South Chapel, 4980 Merrick Rd. (Co. of Whitewood Dr.), Massapequa Park Saturday and Sunday 2-4:30 and 7-9:30pm.
