I remember Uncle Ed as a kind and caring man who helped his little sister and her family through good times and bad. We will miss you.

Ed Meinhold was a loving, caring and thoughtful man. I admired the way he cared for his wife through her long illness. His patience was a admirable. What is more remarkable is the way he continued to minister to the other "ladies" on Lourdes unit. His presence will be missed by many. He was an example of what a true Christian should be.

I was fortunate to have met Ed during the last few months at OLC.
Some of the visits he made to the Lourdes Unit where my Mother is were thoroughly inpsiring and we all grew to love him.
My sympathies to all of his family members and I know that his presence will be thoroughly missed by all.
His soul wll remain in our hearts forever.

I feel honored that I got to know Ed. I got to know Ed walking around OLC chatting with him,he was a very caring man when he talked about "his Ladies on Lourdes" and how he would bring them things or just stop and ask how they were doing. He was a very loving man who loved his family and thought the world of them. And Ed had a wonderful sense of humor I remember one day there was a certain article in the paper and Ed stopped me in the hall and said "I was sitting at the table reading the morning paper, when I got to this and laughed all I could think of is Pat's gona have a field day with this one" he said it made his day. His prayers and input to the Family Council will be greatly missed. But Ed has left a lasting impression on a lot of people my Love and Prayers go out to his family.

To the Meinhold family,
I remember your dad from school, I graduated from North Babylon in 1979. He was a nice man always had positive words to say. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
