Words cannot express how much I loved Jack. He was like a second father to me and I can't be thankful enough for how he accepted me in his house and made me feel as being his own son.
I will never forget the many hours we spent at the kitchen table discussing politics or the world at large. His stories about the war were always a joy for me to listen to.
Jack was a man who was always there for someone else. A man with a strong opinion but with a heart of gold. A man who will be missed a lot.

I didn't get to see a lot of Uncle Jack growing up but never forgot about him. I spoke with him right before I moved to NC. It was like we had seen each other all the time. He had the toughest grip of any person I've ever shaken hands with. The family has lost a major part and will never be forgotten. Blessed to have even known him.
