Irwin Lederman Obituary

LEDERMAN - Irwin, 81, died on October 21, 2008 in Monroe Township with his beloved wife by his side. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Naomi, of 58 years and his four daughters, Terri and her husband Michael Osit, Wendy Sangesland, Karen and her husband Michael Rosen and Donna and her husband Steven Karr. He adored his nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Lawrence. Irwin lived in Plainview, Long Island for 35 years and owned and operated carwashes in Plainview, Roslyn and Rockville Centre. Irwin loved life and was admired by all for his honesty, integrity and loyalty. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of B'nai Brith, and Jewish Congregation of Clearbrook. Funeral services will be conducted from Menorah Chapels at Millburn, 2950 Vauxhall Road, Union, N.J. on Thursday October 23, 2008 at 10:00am. Interment Mt. Ararat Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y.

I was very saddened to learn that Irwin had passed away. Even though we did not have a lot of contact in recent years, I always looked forward to the times we did see each other in FL. You had a wonderful life together and shared many joys. I will call you soon. Love, Cousins Joan & Ronnie
