KETCHAM - William S., of East Northport, L.I. on October 25, 2008 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Chipman) and loving father of Jan (Kris) Bergeron, Chip Ketcham and Jody (Lance) Wade. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Stephanie, Heather and Peter Bergeron, Melissa and Amanda Ketcham, Zoey and Dana Wade and three great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Jean K. Smith and Godfather of Tracey Bozzella. Bill was a U.S. Navy Veteran, retired from Grumman Corp., was a member of East Northport Fire Department for over 50 years, Huntington Softball Hall of Fame and the Suffolk County Sports Hall of Fame. Visitation on Tuesday 7-9 and Wednesday 2-5 and 7-9pm at Brueggemann Funeral Home, 522 Larkfield Road, East Northport. Firematic Services Wednesday 8:00pm. Funeral Service Thursday 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment Northport Rural Cemetery.
