Eugene W. Ryerson

RYERSON - Eugene W., age 86 of Toms River, New Jersey died October 30,2008. Mr. Ryerson previously resided in Northport, New York and was retired from the Singer Co. after 40 years of service. He served our country in the U.S. Army during WW II and saw action on one of the first boats landing during the Normandy Invasion. His wife of 62 years Catherine Ryerson, also of Toms River, New Jersey; daughter Christine and husband Kevin Guttinger of Long Island N.Y.; sons, Steven and wife Lynda of Lawrenceville, GA.; Kenneth and wife Joan of Long Island N.Y. survive Mr. Ryerson. Grandchildren Kevin and James Guttinger, Susan Cole, Stacey Davis, Carissa McElwee, Jenna, Kendra and Gene Ryerson and one great-grandchild, Connor Davis. A memorial service for Mr. Ryerson will be held Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 2:00pm at the chapel of Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Duluth GA, 770-476-2535
