Mary McGovern Obituary

McGOVERN - Mary, of Farmingdale, L.I., on October 19, 2007. Beloved wife of the late James J. McGovern. Devoted mother of Joan Softy, Michael McGovern, and James J. McGovern, Jr. Fond mother-in-law of Doug. Proud and cherished grandmother of Heather and Laura. Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Beth page Funeral Home, 20 Hicksville Road (1 mile north of Southern State Parkway, Exit 29). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial, St. James R.C. Church, Seaford, Wednesday, 9:15 AM. Cremation to follow. Visiting Monday and Tuesday, 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, or American Diabetes Association.
