Was this person related to the Miss Bassett that was a teacher at Franklin Ave. School, District 24, Valley Stream, NY? I think my teacher was Eileen but I'm not sure. This was in the 1940's.

Ken,
I am so sorry about the loss of your Mother. I remember her at our baseball games and when she was the crossing guard at Hewlett HS during the early 70's. She was always so nice and cheerful to me.
May she rest in peace.
