My friend Herb!! It's been just about a year and I have not been able to sit at this computer and write in this guest book without crying ! I miss you so much ! It hurts so much knowing that I will never be able to see you again or sit at 7-11 with a cup of coffee and just talk . We did everything together and got into trouble together . you are and always will be My Best Friend , and I can only hope that when it's my time to go that you will be there waiting for me ! You are my friend and family and I love you! You will always be in my prayers. We miss you so very much !!

Herb I miss you dearly. It is almost a year and its just doesn't seem real. I thank you for taking me to my prom and for being a great friend. Every time I hear Metallica or see a mustang, I think of you and I get teary eyed, when we have a reminder its so real but when we don't its just not. I love you and miss you. Almost 1 year has gone by, and the hurt is still fresh in all our hearts. We have all felt your presence, heard your voice, and/or seen you in our dreams, and yet it will NEVER be the same! All I can ask is that you continue to be our Guardian Angel, and know that we will ALWAYS send you thoughts of love, friendship, and fond memories. You always gave us reason to smile and laugh, and even though we can't see you physically, our memories of you allow that laughter to continue on! I thank the Lord everyday for the wonderful gift he gave to all of us.....and that gift was YOU!

i am so sorry to hear about Herbie... he was a great guy who was always understanding and kind. he was quick witted and could easily make anyone laugh! i have many memories of Herbie and Kerri together from way back. He will never be forgotten. My deepest condolences to Kerri, Emma Rose, Brian, all their family, and everyone whose life was touched by Herbie.

Words cannot express the shock I felt when I found out you were gone. The world lost one of the best people I ever knew. I first met you in 1995 and I remember all those times at the Farrell's house, the whole gang of us hanging out..and handball!!! Those were good times, and the best memories of that time of my life. You were the biggest Metallica fan I ever met! I can remember so many times when you had their music on and were either singing along or jammin on air drums or both! You had a great smile, a good heart, and you were a great friend. Thanks for all the memories, I will never forget you!

We knew each other for 15yrs, and throughout those 15yrs I can't remember a time where you didn't make me laugh....Hard I might add! You ALWAYS lent an ear and allowed me to vent to you, about anything and everything. I always told you, "I can take you anywhere and you will make a life long friend". You just had that flare about you. I will always keep you in my mind and in my heart. You were my strength and my weakness. We all will miss you dearly.

Herb, I can't begin to say how much you meant to me, you were more than my brother in law or just Brian’s brother. You were my friend. I will never forget all the fun times we had whether it was on Friday night’s sitting by the fire with Brian, Jay & Johna or you crashing girl’s night and taking the Cosmo quiz right along with me and Johna. You always showed your interest in what people had to say or what they were doing. Even when I would drag you around my yard to show you what I planted or re-planted many times you always showed your interest. You will be missed more than I can say.

The shock that went through me when i heard what happened cannot be explained. Things like this arent supposed to happen to such a kind hearted person. No party or function will be the same without you. you make everyone smile, everyone laugh and you were like a big teddy bear. I just had a conversation with you about weddings and life and now you will be there with me in my heart always and forever.

Uncle Herbie.. i miss you soo much!! you were my favorite uncle, you were such a happy person no matter what the situation was. Family parties arent going to be the same with out you. Friday nights at Val & Brian's are just not going to be the same without you there and I'm sad that I only knew you for a short time because you were a sweet, wonderful person! My Uncle Herb was the funnest nicest guy i have ever met in my life. I never met someone that was always in a great mood like he always was. I never met someone who was always down to do whatever at any time. He was a great uncle and a great father to his daughter Ema. He will be missed tremendously. If you were to ask anyone to explain Herb, I guarantee they would say he was the nicest guy they have ever met. We all will miss you so much Uncle Herb. RIP Love and miss you.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the sudden passing of Herbie. I can only imagine the pain and suffering you are all feeling. Herb was beloved by all who knew him.
