Stanley, Diane, and Billy -When I heard about Lillian I was truely sad. I immediately rembembered her Smile and what a kind wonderful person and Godmother she was. She was a true friend to my Mom and they shared many good times, one of my memories are when Aunt Dottie and their friend Maria and sometimes Diane came walking through my Mom's door with a loaf of Italian Bread for their Wednesday morning coffee meetings to discuss there children, grandchildren and any updates that might have happen in Cambia Heights and of course the latest sewing problems. That was the best Italian bread and the best memories for all of them and me....My godmother, I remember the day I asked her to be my sponsor for confirmation, of course with a smile and her hand on my shoulder she said yes...I still use her name Elizabeth as my middle name...often asked why I choose Elizabeth and and then tell the story of Why..Cambria Heights that where this wonderful friendship started, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, the twins, church, etc..etc..what great memories...Thank you Lillian from the bottom of my heart..May you rest in peace, and until we meet again I love you forever..
Your Godchild and friend

To Stanley, Diane, Billy and family,
Hearing the news of my Godmother passing was very sad, but I insteadly saw her beautiful smile in front of me, then I saw her walking into Mom's house with Aunt Dottie, Marie, and sometimes Diane with a loaf of Italian Bread....Coffee Day at Theresa's, my Mom lived for Wednesday's...and I think they did too..they would talk about all of us and of course there Grandchildren...and the latest sewing problems...Cambria Heights is were it all began for this great friendship, Sacret Heart girl scouts and boy scouts...I will never forget the day I asked her to be my sponser for confirmation....With her big Smile and a Hug around my neck she said yes....I have Elizabeth for my confirmation name and when I use it every one wants to know where I got that name...I am proud of that name and my sponsor I had...Her friendship to me and my family will never be forgotten...Her friend Theresa has a special place always for her friend Lillian..we should all have friendships like this one.
Diane and Billy I pray for both of you. She was the best...I love you
Lillian may you rest in peace...Until we meet again...
Your Godchild,
Denise
