WALKER - Elizabeth (Betty), a long time resident of Stewart Manor. On November 16, 2007 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Jim. Devoted mother of Bill, Greg (Eileen) and the late Jay. Cherished grandmother of Danny, Stewart, Elizabeth, Kathryn and Jennifer. Friends may call at the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, 29 Atlantic Ave., Floral Park on Friday from 2-5 and 7-9:30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at St. Anne's RC Church at 10am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Long Island Alzheimer's Association.

I'm sorry I could not have been there.You were and remain friend of mine. I can't think of anything you asked me to do, that I didn't do gladly. It is the true nature of friendship to always try to do right by each other. That was done, so all my memories are fine and precious. I know you loved me, and I you. See ya.(i shall ,of course, write a song soon.)
