Even though Joan had six of her own children, I always felt that I was her seventh. All the barbecues, summer pool parties, and get togethers over the years are some of my fondest memories of my "Aunt" Joan. I truly loved her and it breaks my heart that I will not be there to properly pay my respects. My husband and I appreciate all she said and did for our son, Nicholas. I know that she will be watching over him like a guardian angel. My thoughts and prayers are with her children and their familes.

Joan was a loved and long time friend of our family. She was a good woman who opened her heart to a stranger she hardly even knew and gave me a bridal shower I'll never forget. Both Frank and I feel privledged to say that she was more than a friend and became a part of our family. Both our girls were lucky to know her. Our thoughts go out to her children and the rest of the family. I know we will cheerish our memories of her.
