By the time Glen married Mariko I was away from the Council Bluffs area so I don't believe that I ever met Mariko personally but I did hear about her from the family. I'm sure she will be missed by family and friends. I'll remember her in prayer.

Mariko accepted the task of raising five young children by herself after the premature death of her husband, Glen, in Japan. It was a great responsibility that she bore almost single handedly for nearly 40 years. She will be greatly missed by her extended family; we send our sincere condolences to them for their loss.
