Jeanette K. Uryniak

Jeanette K. Uryniak 1924-2008 ADAMS- Jeanette K. Uryniak 83, of 59 West Burt St., died Saturday evening, Aug 23, 2008 at the Williamstown Commons Care Center. Born in Bennington, Vt. on September 30, 1924, Daughter of the late Michael and Agatha Bernat Krawczyk she attended Bennington schools and graduated from Bennington High School in 1942. Her first place of employment was for the former County National Bank in Bennington as a teller, now known as the Chittenden Trust, She also worked for a short period of time for the former Sprague Electric Co., the former James Hunter Machine Co both in North Adams. The Former Hooker Chemical Co., the Hoosac Valley Coal & Grain Co., and the former 1st National Bank, all in Adams. Her last place of employment was for the former First Agricultural Bank in Adams, as a teller for 11 years, retiring in 1974. Mrs. Uryniak was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Adams. She was her family's historian, and enjoyed collecting data and taking family pictures. Her husband, Thomas M. Uryniak, whom she married on April 26, 1947, died October 12, 1999. She leaves two sons, Michael T. Uryniak and his wife Judith of Pownal, Vt., and Thomas J. Uryniak and his wife Jody of Downingtown, Pa. One daughter, Anne Sicley of Stephentown, N.Y. Four brothers, Frances and Edward Krawczyk of Bennington, Vt., James Krawczyk of Oregon, Wisconsin, and Eugene Krawczyk of Fontanelle, Iowa. One sister, Helen Rogalski of Bennington. 5 grandchildren, Laura Sicley, Thomas and Rachel Uryniak, Mark and Erin Rapp, several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Bolden and Anne Klak. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Jeanette K Uryniak will take place Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 10AM in St. Stanislaus Church in Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours at the TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams will be Wednesday from 8:30 until the time of the service. Donations in her memory can be made to the Adams Ambulance or Elder Services for meals on wheels through the funeral home.
