To the Family of Rita:
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of both Dear Rita and Todd. I spent many years growing up knowing Rita as my mom's close friend, her secretary and one of the nicest of her coworkers. She always treated me kindly and gave me her time no matter how busy the office became. She was a sweetheart to all that knew her well. I will miss her greatly and never forget how many times she helped us throughout the years. I know my mom joins me in saying how much Rita was a joy to have in our lives and the memories we all cherish will never fade. Together her and Todd are now able to watch over your family and smile as you carry on your futures remembering them fondly. Bless you all.

My Dearest Grandma,

Know that I love you more than I love anyone else. You were and will always be my number one. I am so very saddened for all of us, but it brings me comfort to know you are with my father-your baby boy, as well as your parents and siblings. We had a special bond Gram, and I will always cherish that. Who will I call when I need advice, when I need to vent, or when I just want to talk to you.....no doubt this is going to be a long and difficult road ahead. Please know that I will take care of my Auntie Cate for you. I miss you and my dad so much....it is really really hard knowing I will never see either of you again in this life. Please know that I do and will always love you and my father, and will think of you daily, and will think of you both every time I see my sharp-as-a-tack little brother Kenny. SO much of you two lives in him. I am truly blessed to have had both of you in my life-you were the two funniest and matter-of-fact people that I have ever met. I can only hope to be half as honest and funny!!

You meant so much to so many, and were Grandma Reet to so many, and I hope you know that. Drew and I love and miss you so much. You were and will always be my best friend. Please take good care of my dad and I will do my best to watch over all of us that remain here. I love you Gram.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to all of Rita's family. We worked with her many years ago at BCAC, and we remember her fondly. She had alot of laughter in her, and was great with the jokes, and comebacks! She was a good woman, who will be missed. God Bless all of you, and remember the "MEMORIES"

Brett, Cate & Family,
Once again sadness and grief calls upon you and your families. Though far too soon and only God knows why, I believe he needed Rita & Todd together for a far greater purpose in the heavens above.
Together the two will always be near you and in your hearts, watching over all!
Rita, was very much a Mother to me back in those days When I especially needed Her wisdomn and advice. Which I always took to heart, her kindness and compassion coupled with her humor is what guided me through many years, never to be forgotten and fondly bringing me to a better path in my walk through life.

You know Cate that maybe this is how it is supposed to be I really dont think your mom would of wanted to start dialysis it is rough road to go I know my mom had days where she really did'nt want to do it anymore but she did for her family.
