Elizabeth Sears Obituary

Elizabeth I. Sears 1915 - 2008 NORTH ADAMS Elizabeth I. Sears, 93, of 611 State Road died Saturday Sept. 20, 2008, at Williamstown Commons. Born in Bennington, Vt., on March 2, 1915, a daughter of James M. and Susan Snow Kearns, she attended schools in Bennington and graduated from the Bennington High School. Mrs. Sears was first employed in a law office in Bennington and also taught violin to students. She later worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. Primarily a homemaker, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cook and sew and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church and a former communicant of Our Lady of the Incarnation Church. Her husband, Alvin Harvey Sears, whom she married in 1941, died May 27, 2008. Sh leaves one daughter, Suzanne Rose and her husband, Wilfred, of North Adams; two grandchildren,Kathleen Rose and Stephen Rose and his wife, Anne; a granddaughter-in-law, Linda Rose; five great-grandchildren, Kristie Peck, Jennifer Bonesteel, Kimberly Rose, Sarah Rose, and Justine Rose; two great-great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Peck and Braedan Peck, and nieces and nephews A grandson, Daniel Rose, died Feb. 13, 2006. Four sisters and two brothers are deceased, Jane Evans, Katherine Chapman, Cecelia Hassenpflug, Agnes Floriani, James Kearns and Patrick Kearns. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Elizabeth I. Kearns Sears will take place Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at 10:15 a.m. at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME for FUNERALS, WEST CHAPELS, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Williamstown Commons Activities Fund through the funeral home, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA 01247.

How, could I forget Mrs.sears she was an wouderful woman.I had took care of her at Willimstown Commons she would make me laugh even at work I am sorry for your lost.
