Angelina Hobart 1912 - 2008 NORTH ADAMS Angelina Mastroianni Hobart, 96, of 85 Eagle Street. Apartment 8C , St. Joseph Court died Tuesday Nov. 4, 2008 at Williamstown Commons, 25 Adams Road, Williamstown. She was born in North Adams, on June 28, 1912, daughter of Domenico Mastroianni and Marie Antonia Perretta Mastroianni. She was educated in North Adams schools including the former St. Joseph High School. Mrs. Hobart was employed with the former Wall-Streeter Shoe Company on Union St, North Adams for 30 years and also the former J J, Newberry Store on Main Street, North Adams. She was also employed at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica, Calif., and the May Company in Los Angeles, Calif. Before her retirement in 1984, she was last employed with the former Williamstown Nursing Home, now Williamstown Commons. She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church of North Adams. Her husband was John Fred Hobart who died on Jan. 5, 1960. They were married on Nov. 23, 1935 in St. Anthony of Padua Church, North Adams. She leaves one son, Frederick Simon Hobart of Adams, and two daughters; Mary A. Carter of San Antonio, Texas, and Joan O'Brien of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and four grandchildren, Mark John Hobart, Carolyn Peaslee, Christopher Carter and Daniel Sebanc and eight great-grandchildren and two sisters Olympia "Lee" Lupo of Adams, and Katherine "Kate" Collier of Santa Monica, Calif., nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. She was predeceased by a sister and three brothers including Lucy Mastroianni, the Rev. Erminio Mastroianni, Jordan Mastroianni and Frank "ChiChi" Mastroianni. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services are Saturday Nov. 8, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 64 Marshall St, North Adams. Burial at a later date in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams, Mass.
