Dear Elizabeth, Melanie, Gordon, Miles and Mary Beth,
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. It is very hard to say good bye to a parent or loved one, but they live on in your heart forever.

Elizabeth and Melanie, So sorry about your Dad. Dr. Farrar always went out of his way to find out what was going on in my life. It wasn't just chit chat. He really cared, and for that, I always looked forward to seeing him in Auburn. I will miss him.

I just learned of Dr. Farrar's death. My grandmother, Lillian Farrar Robinson was his aunt. I have heard her speak highly of him years ago. Sorry for your loss.
My mother was Joyce Robinson Rambin.

My dad Billy Adkison, farmer, of Slocomb, AL thought very highly of your father, Mr. Farrar. I know you will miss him. He was a man to be admired and respected. He had a wonderful career and my father enjoyed his friendship on many occasions. My thoughts and prayers are with you

Elizabeth and Melanie - We are so sorry about the loss of your dear dad. I have such fond memories of him. He sent me such a comforting e-mail when I lost my dachshund several years ago, and also a comment I'll never forget when we got a new puppy. We met the seller at McDonald's in Rayville and he asked "What kind of Happy Meal did you get??" when I shared the news. Since then, she's our Happy Meal puppy. I'll never forget that.
We're thinking about you. ((Hugs)) - your cousin Melanie in Louisiana

Elizabeth and Melanie,
Your Dad was a special man of great accomplishments and will be missed. Tex regrets that he was unable to help him with his book. We missed seeing you all and will be remembering both of you in our prayers.

Lizbeth and Melanie,
I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing. It is a hard thing for us girls to lose our dads. He and your mom were always such great neighbors to the Barrington family. Cindy, Monica, Chris, Tony and I want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Our love to you both.
