Not sure what to say?

Stopped by the white water park today and saw John's statue. First time ever. My family moved to Boise 7 years ago because we have had enough.
Reading the history of John is another inspiring story of the young Patriots that come forth from this country try to make the world a better place. I have children almost John's age and cant imagine the loss of this great young American as a child of mine. Thoughts and prayers to his family
You would rather have him home than be a hero-...

Its been another year my fried. My son is now almost 2 and he loves to listen to the stories I tell him of you and I jumping the golf carts around at your Dads course. Miss you and love you my friend.

I read John's silver star citation today and came here to pay my respects. I am the same age as he would be. I was so sad to read about this courageous guy. I wish I could have met him.

you would have been 32 last week and its wild its has been so long since you left us. I tell stories all the time and my newborn son will know you as my best friend and a hero. Love you brother

You would have been 32 this last week and I cant believe it has been that long. My newborn son will know your name as a friend and a hero. I tell stories about you and I all the time and try to live my life for the both of us. Miss you Brother.

Miss you buddy

Dear family of John G. Borbonus,
Years ago when visiting my parents I read about your son in the paper, cut the clipping out, put it my Bible and kept it there to remember you each in prayer. You have been placed my heart to pray for. May you be comforted by the Lord and know He cares about all your suffering and loneliness.
Prayers, Janice Miller

Just thinking of you my friend. I know its been years since your passing but I constantly tell stories of us growing up and all the shenanigans we used to get into. Went golfing this last weekend alone and it really made me miss you given you were my golf buddy...plus we jumped the golf cart at falcon crest before the bridge was finished!! Your Dad gave me your old clubs and I still used them...of course have to choke up on them given I'm shorter than you but they work well and I always give...

Will always remember Hans, Maggie and John's visits to us in South Africa . Derrick Schafers (SA)
