Age 32, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2006 in Ramadi, Iraq. Captain Patriquin was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 15, 1974 to Gary and Connie Patriquin of Lockport, IL.
Captain Patriquin is survived by his loving family; his wife, Amy (nee Alston) Patriquin; three children, Emily, Harmon and Logan Patriquin; his parents, Gary and Connie Patriquin; two brothers, Daniel and Steven Patriquin and a sister, Karrie Patriquin; paternal grandparents, Jack and Lavern Patriquin of Florissant; uncles, Dennis and Greg Patriquin and aunt, Mary Ann Carlson; two paternal great-aunts and great-uncles. Also surviving are his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carmen and John Pharis; aunts and uncles, Reta Jenkins of Salem; Bill Hord of Santa Marie, CA; Janet and Bob Peirson of Ripley, WV; Kay Meade of Salem; Bonnie and Michael McMillan of Sydney, Australia; Sharon and Jim Holfled of Pecos, NM; Ancil Sallee of Tempe, AZ; and numerous cousins.
Captain Patriquin a former resident of Lockport and former student of St. Dennis School in Lockport. He attended Officer Training School at Fort Benning, GA. His Army achievements included service in Iraq, Afghanistan, South America and Germany and numerous Special Forces missions and the ability to speak multiple languages. He was serving with the 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division in Tikrit, Iraq when he was fatally injured by a roadside bomb near Ramadi, Iraq.
Captain Patriquin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arlie and Dorothy Sallee.
Family will receive friends from 9:00 am until time of the Memorial Service at 10:00 am for Captain Travis L. Patriquin at St. Dennis Church, 1214 Hamilton Street, Lockport on Saturday, January 6, 2007. Interment with Full Military Honors was held on Friday, December 15, 2006 at Carty Cemetery in Dent County, Missouri. Goodale Memorial Chapel
