Tommy Taylor Obituary

Tommy Mack Taylor, 53, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was formerly employed as a foreman at F. L. Crane and Sons. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, deer hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also loved his dogs. Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, March 19, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Rick Johnson. Interment will follow in Rowland Mills Cemetery. Pallbearers include Robert Farr, Jerry Huffman, Dewayne Parsons, Jackie Bullock, John Taylor, and Brandon Hicks. Honorary Pallbearers include Tommy McDougal, Jimmy Calton, Tommy Farr, and Ray Jourdan. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include his beloved wife, Sue Taylor of Burnsville, MS; 3 sons, Tolan Taylor of Burnsville, MS; Michael Taylor of Kingston Springs, TN; and Eion Taylor of Burnsville, MS; 3 daughters, Toma Taylor of Burnsville, MS; Maranda Welch and husband, James, of Clarksville, TN; and Michelle Taylor of Nashville, TN; 1 brother-in-law, Jerry Cagle and wife, Dru, of Iuka, MS; 3 sisters, Linda Bumpas and husband, Dennis, of Corinth, MS; Nancy Lambert and husband, Lawrence, of Glen, MS; and Dorthy Holder and husband, Gary, of Cairo, MS; and 12 grandchildren, Malakai Taylor, Eion Taylor, Taren Welch, Gideon Welch, Osiris Welch, Tommy Taylor, Lilly Taylor, Brenden Taylor, Tuesday McClendon, Audry McClendon, Daniel McClendon, and Cash McClendon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Elton and Jessie Maye Taylor; and his grandparents, Maskell and Leetha Taylor and Guyton and Alma Armstrong.
