Margaret Roussel Landrum, 86 of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at The Arrington of Plantation Pointe, Columbus, MS.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Landrum was born May 4, 1923 in McComb, MS to the late Charles A. and Lillian Roussel. She was a resident of Columbus, MS for the past 45 years having moved from Meridian, MS. Mrs. Landrum retired in 1986 from the Mississippi Highway Patrol – Driver’s License Bureau after 12 years of service. She enjoyed traveling and reading.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Landrum is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Henry Landrum and sister – Lillian Eckman.
Mrs. Landrum is survived by her daughters – Dr. Peggy Landrum and husband – Steve Wales, Houston, TX; Vicki (Johnny) Gilliland, West Point, MS; grandchildren – Erich Landrum, Austin, TX; Shannon Velasquez, Flatonia, TX; Megan Dareing, Columbus, MS; great grandchildren – Vanessa Mackiewilz and Abigail Velasquez.
Her family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of the Arrington of Plantation Pointe for their compassion and care. She was dearly loved by her family and will be missed terribly.
