Jeffrey A. Boskovitch Obituary

Our Marine, our Son, our Brother, our Friend was killed in action on August 2, 2005 in Haditha, Iraq as he fought for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Cpl. Jeffrey Allen Boskovitch will be dearly missed.

If you knew Jeff, no explanation is necessary. If you didn't know Jeff, please know that he had an immense sense of humor, was fun-loving, and had a great zest for life. Most important, he was a Marine, a Marine that was honorable, courageous, and served his country with dignity.

After graduating Normandy High in 1999 he decided to enlist in the USMCR. In 2000, Jeff graduated as Private First Class and earned his spot in the Scout Sniper Platoon. As a reservist, he was gainfully employed at National City Bank in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2002, he graduated as President of his class from OPATA at Cuyahoga Community College in Parma, Ohio.

In January of 2005, he was deployed to Iraq with the rest of his brothers from the 3-25 Battalion, 4th Marine Division of Brookpark, Ohio.

Cpl. Jeffery A. Boskovitch is survived by his mother Kathy Wright (Steve) and father Jim Boskovitch (Vicki) along with brother Brian and sister Kimberly and also six step brothers and sisters.

The void that is in our hearts and souls with the loss of Jeff will never be filled. May he now rest in peace.
