Alfred Terrien Obituary

ATTLEBORO - Alfred C. Terrien, 1167 Oak Hill Avenue, Attleboro died peacefully on Sunday, November 4, 2012, at Life Care Center of Attleboro.

He was the loving husband of 40 years to Rosemarie (Lambert) Terrien.

He was born in Pawtucket, RI, the son of Clement Terrien and Lucille (Riel) Terrien and he resided in Attleboro for 40 years with his wife, Rosie.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jodi Hedge, from Middleburg, FL, his son-in-law, David Hedge, a granddaughter, Meghan, and a grandson, Joshuwa.

He is also survived by a brother- and sister-in-law, Arthur and Jeanne Boutiette of Blackstone, MA along with a niece and her husband, Lisa and Matthew Trottier from Whitinsville, MA and a nephew and great niece, Michael and Arianna Boutiette from Rotonda West, FL along with aunts, uncles, and cousins from various states.

Fred was a Board Member of the Rehoboth Breed Expo, a Board Member of Angle Tree Rod & Gun Club, and a club member of Bristol County Horsemenís Association, plus a Rosieís Renegades Relay for Life team member helping to raise donations for the American Cancer Society.

He was a salesman at Northeast Trading in North Attleboro, MA and was president of his own part-time business, Fredís Enterprises. Many years ago, he was an auxiliary police sergeant for the Plainville Police Department.

He enjoyed his time caring for their Quarter Horse, Ty Girl, and yellow lab, Goldie. And, of course, he enjoyed listening to his IPod music while running his small and large John Deere tractors on their small farm.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 7 from 5-8 p.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.

A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass in St. Martha's Church, 227 South Street (Route 1A) at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be held on Friday, November 9 at 12:30 p.m. at Oak Knoll Cemetery (Route 118), Rehoboth.
