William Francis O'Brien William Francis O'Brien, 91, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012,
at Caton Merchant House in Manassas, Virginia. He was born on April 5, 1921, in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late Joseph M. and Elizabeth (Clifford) O'Brien. Mr. O'Brien was a retired United States Marine Corp veteran who proudly served our country. He was a member of The Chosin Few, VFW and American Legion. After retiring from the Marine Corp, he worked as a Satellite Mapper for the United States Government.
He was a devoted catholic, who attended All Saints Catholic Church. He was a member of the Prince William Hospital Auxiliary, where he received the Lifetime Achievement Award and a member of Ancient Order of Hibernians. Mr. O'Brien ran the 4-H light horse and pony club and enjoyed attending the Bull Run Carver Club. He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Marie O'Brien. Survivors include his son, James Sean O'Brien and his wife, Patricia J., and a granddaughter, Jacqueline A. O'Brien. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013, at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Road, Manassas, Virginia, with the Reverend Robert C. Cilinski officiating. Mr. and Mrs. William F. O'Brien will be buried together at Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle, Virginia, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to:
